Description
~~~~~~~~~~~
JoyBoard is a program that converts joystick button events into keyboard
events. Each joystick button is mapped to a user-defined key. The program
has a very small footprint and in normal operation only shows as a tray icon.
JoyBoard was originally intended to be used with SmartJoy PLUS Adapters to
play Jumper using PlayStation controllers. But that's just one idea...
Installation
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Copy JoyBoard.exe and JoyBoard.ini in the same folder. That's it.

Configuration
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Edit JoyBoard.ini to suit your needs. To determine the numbers corresponding
to each joystick button, look in the Game Controllers applet (Control Panel).
Supported special keys (aside from one-character keys such as "a", "3", "*"):
enter, esc (alias for escape), up, down, left, right
Running
~~~~~~~
When you run JoyBoard.exe, a tray icon should appear.

Troubleshooting
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In case something isn't going right, run JoyBoard.exe with the /console
parameter. A console window should appear, displaying lots of useful debug
information. If you're still having trouble after that, feel free to e-mail
me and I will be happy to lend a hand.
