Volunteering Opportunities
Every year, Virtual Ventures depends on at least 25 volunteers to help our camp run effectively. As a volunteer, you will be responsible for helping instructors teach our advanced workshops to campers who are younger than yourself.
Instructor Assistants
Instructor Assistants are responsible for aiding instructors teach advanced workshops to campers. Volunteering as an Instructor Assistant at Virtual Ventures is a very rewarding experience. VV volunteers learn great skills and have the chance to teach those skills to others. If you are interested in becoming a Virtual Ventures Volunteer please complete our application package. Please note that we will accept Volunteer Applications up until the start of camp.
Please Note: We will also be needing volunteers for our Fall and Winter Clubs. If you are interested in volunteering for the Clubs, please contact us. You DO NOT need to fill out the form.
We will also be needing volunteers next summer. If you are interested in volunteering for Virtual Ventures in 2010 click Here[.pdf] or Here[.doc].
Mentors
Mentors are individuals with strong background in science or technology fields who come to the camp to make presentations and participate in activities with the campers. Mentors provide inspiration to campers and show real world applications of science and technology.
