Interested in being part of the design, production and management of a performance car? There's lots of work to be done. The car is broken up into about 10 systems and a few dozen subsytems. Here's a short list of major systems and subsystems to give you an idea of what's involved in the design and production of the car:

Not only do these components need to be designed, but they also have to be manufactured. This is a great opportunity to learn your way around the machine shop, and to find out about composites and advanced machining techniques.

Not comfortable designing or manufacturing parts for the car? No problem. We need help in areas such as advanced concept research, marketing, fundraising, public relations and infrastructure as well.

Not only is Formula SAE is a great way to learn and put your engineering skills to good use, it's also a great way to make friends, industry contacts and have some fun. In becoming part of the Ravens Racing FSAE, you'll be working with fellow engineering students from various years and various programs to put together a winning team.

For more information about how you can fit into the team, if you have any questions or want more information, please contact Briana Paige.
